Tractor Operator

Major Duties:
Operates towed or attached equipment with a tractor through hydraulic or mechanical control. Operating this equipment involves making multiple mechanical and hydraulic connections between the towed or attached equipment and adjustments. May include mowers, aerators, plows, harrows, chippers, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, front-end loading devices, movable dozer blades and backhoes. Performs daily preventative maintenance and makes repairs and adjustments to tractors and equipment. Includes but not limited to replacing belts, chains and cables, oil and filter changes, battery checks, safety inspections, and other servicing that may be required. Incumbent will perform duties in 2 locations, Andersonville National Historic Site located in Andersonville, Georgia and Jimmy Carter National Historic Site located in Plains, Georgia. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to do work of a Tractor Operator without more than normal supervision. (SCREEN OUT) Reliability and Dependability Work Practices (including keeping thins neat, clean and in order). Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (related to mobile equipment operation) Operation of Motor Vehicles Ability to Drive Safely (motor vehicles) Ability to Operate Safely (non-motor vehicles) If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
